WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13 Salvation is a big word and it includes all the things that Christ died for you to have. Work out your own salvation by doing God’s will, being obedient to Him. You take possession of what belongs to you by living a life of obedience to God. When you live a life of obedience to God you activate the blessing of God in your life. It will be evident to all that you are blessed, when you live a life of obedience. Obedience is the key to living the blessed life. BE A TEAM PLAYER

Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:2 Be united with other believers and do what your leader tells you to do. The only time you are not supposed to obey your leader is if he or she is asking you to do what is contrary to the Word. Other than that, be agreeable and obey spiritual instructions. There is unity when we all obey spiritual instructions, we can all flow in one direction. We can definitely achieve more when we are united. We can readily make progress when we are united. Nothing can stop us when we are united. And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing they propose to do will be withheld from them. Live a life of sacrifice for the sake of winning others to Christ. The aim is to win souls and lead many to righteousness; to depopulate hell and populate heaven. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 (KJV) Now that you are born again, the number one thing on God’s list is your prosperity and health. God is a good and generous God. He wants you to prosper and be in health above all things; your prosperity and health are His priority. It is God’s perfect will that you prosper and be in health. Your response is to desire the same thing for yourself. You should desire to prosper and be in health. However, there is an enemy out there who does not want you to prosper and be in health. MAKING POWER AVAILABLE

Ephesians 3:20 There is power that is at work in us and it is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It is the power of the Holy Spirit. The opening Scripture teaches us that God is able to exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to this power of the Holy Spirit. When you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior you need to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. HAVE A DREAM

Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. Genesis 37:5 Have a dream that involves your gifts, God loves dreamers. God kept Joseph alive because Joseph had a dream. Joseph could have died at the hands of his brothers but instead they threw him in a pit, later on they took him out of the pit and sold him into slavery. When he got to Egypt he served his master faithfully until he was accused of attempted rape by a vindictive woman and was sent to prison. In prison he was used by God to interpret a dream and eventually he got out of prison. When Joseph got out of prison, he accomplished his dream. Joseph did not perish in the face of adversity because he had a dream. How many people perish because they don’t have a dream that they actively pursue? CREATED FOR A PURPOSE

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 You are created for a purpose and the Bible refers to your purpose as good works. There are things that God wants you to accomplish here on earth. You are here on assignment therefore you have to discover what is that assignment that God wants you to accomplish. You have to ask yourself what your purpose is. You have to ask God what He wants you to do. Your purpose entails your gifts and passions. Your purpose is something you are both good at and passionate about. Stop telling others what they should do for you but ask what should I do? What can you do for others? What can you do for your family, church, community, nation etc.? What is your purpose?
