Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 (KJV) Now that you are born again, the number one thing on God’s list is your prosperity and health. God is a good and generous God. He wants you to prosper and be in health above all things; your prosperity and health are His priority. It is God’s perfect will that you prosper and be in health. Your response is to desire the same thing for yourself. You should desire to prosper and be in health. However, there is an enemy out there who does not want you to prosper and be in health. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. MAKING POWER AVAILABLE

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 There is power that is at work in us and it is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It is the power of the Holy Spirit. The opening Scripture teaches us that God is able to exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to this power of the Holy Spirit. When you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior you need to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Jesus told us that we shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has come upon us. You shall receive power after the baptism of the Holy Spirit. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. HAVE A DREAM

Now Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more. Genesis 37:5 Have a dream that involves your gifts, God loves dreamers. God kept Joseph alive because Joseph had a dream. Joseph could have died at the hands of his brothers but instead they threw him in a pit, later on they took him out of the pit and sold him into slavery. When he got to Egypt he served his master faithfully until he was accused of attempted rape by a vindictive woman and was sent to prison. In prison he was used by God to interpret a dream and eventually he got out of prison. When Joseph got out of prison, he accomplished his dream. Joseph did not perish in the face of adversity because he had a dream. How many people perish because they don’t have a dream that they actively pursue? CREATED FOR A PURPOSE

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 You are created for a purpose and the Bible refers to your purpose as good works. There are things that God wants you to accomplish here on earth. You are here on assignment therefore you have to discover what is that assignment that God wants you to accomplish. You have to ask yourself what your purpose is. You have to ask God what He wants you to do. Your purpose entails your gifts and passions. Your purpose is something you are both good at and passionate about. Stop telling others what they should do for you but ask what should I do? What can you do for others? What can you do for your family, church, community, nation etc.? What is your purpose? BROUGHT NEAR BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:13 There is power, wonder working power in the blood of Jesus and we have been brought near by the blood of Christ. The Bible clearly states that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no remission. Hebrews 9:22 In the Old Testaments they relied on the blood of goats and bulls to cover sins which was just a shadow. In the New Testament the Lamb of God shed His own blood on the cross for the remission of sins. When we believe in Jesus and receive Him as our Lord and Savior, our sins are removed, totally blotted out and now we have been brought near.   Now we can have a living relationship with the living God. TEACH OTHERS

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:2 You have to train others especially those you have been given the privilege to lead. As leader you should not withhold anything from your followers. Learn to share your wisdom with others. Selflessness is the key to greatness. Other people like to withhold things from others and are not prone to share with others how they made it. Consequently, they don’t become great in life. However, those who are liberal do become great. The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:24-25 (MSG) Giving something away is one major way of ensuring that it stays with you. UPGRADE YOUR MIND

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 When you renew your mind, you upgrade your mind and when you upgrade your mind, you upgrade your life. You can change the way you think and when you change the way you think you change your life. Before you got born again, you had a certain thought-pattern; you held certain views that may not necessarily be correct. However, when you got born again some of those views may not have changed. These views may keep you from making progress in your life. Henceforth, you need to renew your mind and change your thinking. You need a mental upgrade. You need to engage in exercises that deal with the mind. The Word, prayer and reading the right books are some of the exercises that will help you renew or upgrade your mind.
