God-fearing people are blessed people! All great men and women of God fear God. God is the Creator of the universe and everything that is in it. His greatness and wisdom is past finding out. He runs the whole universe. He is Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent. God knows the end from the beginning. There is no one like the Lord. Everyone who fears the Lord is blessed! Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, who walks in His ways. Psalm 128:1 When you fear the Lord, does that mean you are afraid of God? Yes, you are not afraid of Him to run from Him, but you are afraid to sin against Him. When you fear the Lord, you will fear nothing and no one else. Ephesians 6:10 Many people in these last days have gotten weak and that is because they think they have to be strong in themselves. The Bible did not say be strong in yourself, but it says be strong in the Lord. However, some people want to be strong but they don’t want to pray, study the Word or go to church. Consequently, they remain weak. If you are going to be strong in the Lord, you have to engage in spiritual exercises. Some listen to their feelings, they feel weak and then think they are weak. That is not what the Bible teaches. As the righteous, we walk by faith and not by sight or sensory perception. It doesn’t matter how you feel because you can change it by your words. Genesis 17:1 Some people think that to be holy is a difficult thing to do and yes, it is difficult if you try to do it in your own strength. However, God gave us insight on how to be holy, He said to Abram, “walk before Me and be blameless.” You can put it this way, “walk before Me and be holy” or “walk before Me and bear the fruit of the Spirit.” When you walk before the Lord, when you walk with Him or when you spend time with Him, you will live a holy life. So, spend time with God and be holy. You can only live a holy life when you spend time with God. There are no two ways about it and there are no short cuts. When you spend time with God He will change you and you will bear the fruit of the Spirit. The more you spend time with God, the more you become like Him. He changes you from the inside out. Genesis 4:7 God has set principles in motion and when you adhere to them you will flourish, however it is to your detriment if you disobey them. If you do well your success will not be denied! If you obey principles of finances you will live in abundance. If you obey principles of healing and divine health you will walk in healing and divine health. If you obey principles of relationships you will have healthy relationships. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19 God has given us the keys of the kingdom if you may. You don’t have to struggle through life. You don’t have to sorrow in life. You don’t have to be poor. You don’t have to be sick. Genesis 6:5 (KJV) Have you ever thought and thought and caught yourself thinking the wrong thoughts and went “What am I thinking?” Now when you said, “What am I thinking?” The line of thought was interrupted and you could think something else. That is what you need to do with wrong thoughts. Don’t let your thoughts run wild and think on the wrong stuff, interrupt wrong thoughts and change your line of thought or imagination because the character of your thoughts and your imagination shape your life. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21 When your money is in the things of God, your heart will be in the things of God. You can direct heart through your giving. When you give first fruits, pay tithes, give offerings and partner with ministries, you direct your heart to be in the things of God. Your heart will follow your treasure. We ought to take giving to the kingdom of God seriously, because where our treasure is, there our hearts will be also. We should not serve money, but serve God with our money. Don’t let money dictate whether you can give to God or not. Serve God with your money. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Having a vision and writing it down is the same, you know exactly where you are going so you know which route to take in life. When you know where you are going, you will know how to get there. You know what is necessary and what you need to get rid of, all because of the vision you have written down. You know what it will take and the sacrifices you need to make in order to accomplish your vision. A vision gives you hope and a sense of direction. It gives you discipline. Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger not your own lips. Proverbs 27:2 Have you ever met people who love to talk about themselves? People who can hold a conversation from start to finish just talking about themselves. They wouldn’t talk about anything that concerns the person that they are communicating with. That is not wisdom and that is not humility. Humble people don’t praise themselves. They shift the focus from themselves to others in order to bring out the best in others. Humble people love to praise others and not themselves. Humble people encourage, compliment and speak well of others in their conversations. Ephesians 3:20 There is power that is at work in us and it is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It is the power of the Holy Spirit. The opening Scripture teaches us that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to this power of the Holy Spirit. When you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior you need to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Jesus told us that we shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has come upon us. You shall receive power after the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Joseph could have died at the hands of his brothers but instead they threw him in a pit, later on they took him out of the pit and sold him into slavery. When he got to Egypt he served his master faithfully until he was accused of attempted rape by a vindictive woman and was sent to prison. In prison he was used by God to interpret a dream and eventually he got out of prison. When Joseph got out of prison, he accomplished his dream.
