TITHERS ARE BLESSED
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the LORD of hosts; and all nations will call you blessed. For you will be a delightful land, says the LORD of hosts.
Malachi
3:10-12
As
a seed of Abraham you are already blessed but a lot of people are looking for
the blessing. The blessing is in the tithe; when you tithe you activate the
blessing. When you tithe you will see God’s blessing working in your life.
When
you tithe you don’t give it directly to the pastor or anybody else for that
matter, you give it to the church where you are fed the Word that there may be
food in God’s house.
If
you don’t think that tithers are blessed just try tithing faithfully to your
local church for a whole year and see what happens, God said to prove Him in
this. Tithing works, I find that the more I tithe the more I use money wisely
and the more blessed I become.
“Bring
all the tithe,” it doesn’t say bring some of the tithe or bring the tithe
sometimes, but, “bring all the tithe,” so when you tithe you have to do it
faithfully all the time.
When
you tithe you prove that you trust God even in the area of finances. In the
Word there are principles practically for every area of your life. There are
principles for ministry, business, relationships, health, etc. If you want to
prosper financially you have to obey financial principles.
Tithing
is a financial principle, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob tithed and boy, were they
blessed. You can never go wrong with tithing. When you give you don’t lose, you
don’t decrease by giving on the contrary you increase by giving.
Tithe
was instituted before the law and it continued through the law into the New
Testament. Furthermore, Jesus taught us to tithe.
Woe
to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For pay tithe of mint and anise and
cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy
and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.
Matthew23:23
Thought
of the day: Tithers are blessed!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching me to tithe and thank You that when
tithe I will be blessed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
