BLESSED WITH BELIEVING ABRAHAM

So then who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. Galatians 3:9 As a child of God you are blessed with the blessings of Abraham. The promises that are in the Word of God are yours; the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen. You don’t have to struggle in life. You can live a blessed life. You don’t have to live a life of poverty, sickness and destruction. You can live a blessed life. You can walk in the blessing. Once you know who you are and what belongs to you, poverty, sickness and destruction will not have a hold on you. Once you know that you are blessed with believing Abraham, you can live a blessed life. Christ has redeemed us form the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14 Think about it, every time that you see the Word of Go

TITHERS ARE BLESSED

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the LORD of hosts; and all nations will call you blessed. For you will be a delightful land, says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 3:10-12 As a seed of Abraham you are already blessed but a lot of people are looking for the blessing. The blessing is in the tithe; when you tithe you activate the blessing. When you tithe you will see God’s blessing working in your life. When you tithe you don’t give it directly to the pastor or anybody else, you give it to the church where you are fed the Word that there may be food in God’s house. If you don’t think that tithers are

INVEST FOR A BETTER FANANCIAL FUTURE

Ship your grain across the sea; after many days you may receive a return. Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 (NIV) According to our opening Scripture, when you invest you should diversify. So diversify your portfolio. You can invest in real estate, stocks, commodities, mutual funds, or bonds that do well and invest in a number of them. Investing is risky but if you don’t take any risks in life you will never be financially free! This is where tithing, offering and giving to the poor comes in. When you tithe faithfully God protects your investments. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your gr

NOTHING WORKS UNLESS YOU DO

The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. Genesis 2:15 (NIV) As an adult you have to do work of some sort whether it is ministry, business, or a job. You have to in some way, shape or form engage in service to mankind. You cannot afford to be idle because that will only lead to poverty. When you work in service to mankind you make a difference. Making a difference is the number one reason why you are here and it is your choice how you will make that difference. When you work you will profit. In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23 You were created to work and manage the earth. There is no getting around it, but you find some people who want to do well financially but don’t want to engage in work. That is laziness and it leads to poverty. He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. Proverbs 10:4 Lazy people end up poor and hardworking people

BEARING FRUIT

Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Matthew 7:17 As born-again believers we ought to bear fruit. The world will know us by our fruit that we are Christians and not by our mere confession. There has to be a distinct difference between a believer and someone who is an unbeliever. We are in the world but not of the world. In the book of Acts, the disciples were called Christians because they were Christ-like, they were identified with Christ. Therefore, Christianity is a lifestyle. And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. Acts 11:26 There are two kinds of Christians, a carnal Christian and a spiritual Christian. A carnal Christian is a natural man and he is ruled by the senses. The Bible says that a carnal Christian is a babe in Christ. The spiritual Christian is a growing C

GIVING IS LIVING

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38 The world doesn’t owe you anything; you are the one who is supposed to make a difference in the world. You are the one who is supposed to be a giver, lifter and helper. Many people are waiting for things to happen like the next breakthrough. Well, why not make things happen? Instead of waiting for a breakthrough, pay it forward. Every action has a return effect, you will reap what you sow. Instead of waiting for people to love you, help you and be friendly to you. Start sowing love, help and friendship to others. Start sowing what you want to harvest in your life. Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12 God has set spiritual laws in motion and all you have to do is to take advantage of them. Whe

GIVING AND RECIEVING

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22 Giving and receiving go together. Sowing and reaping go hand in hand. There is no prosperity without giving and receiving. The truth of the matter is that many people would love to be givers, but many people wait for the “right time” to give. They wait until they have more than enough. They wait for just the right conditions. To be frank, that day may never come with that kind of attitude towards giving. He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap. Ecclesiastes 11:4 In giving, there has to be sacrifice involved. Where you give not necessarily because you have abundance, but you give because you love God and people. Giving not necessarily because you have abundance, but giving even out of need. Giving is sacrificial in nature. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever beli

PRAYER UNLOCKS BREAKTHROUGH

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8 Your prayers can effect changes and change your world. The faith walk is an upward walk, where you go from faith to faith, strength to strength, grace to grace and glory to glory. However, that is not all God’s responsibility. We have a role to play, in order to experience the life that Jesus came to give us. He told us to work out our own salvation with godly reverence. He told us to put it to work. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12 As a child of God, you are responsible as to how your life turns out. God has given you a choice between life and death; blessing and cursing. God has given you keys of the kingdom. Your prayer li

THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:20-21 Life and death are in the tongue. How your life goes, your well-being and your economic state are all dependent on the words that you speak every day. Your words can make you a failure or a success in life. If your life is going in the wrong direction, change your words. He who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction. Proverbs 13:3 Your words have the ability to create the desired future. When you speak, it is not just mere words. Your words go into the future and create a life that is consistent with your words. If you want to change your life, change your words. Choose life, speak life. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of

GRACE

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:16-17 Grace is unmerited favor; favor that you didn’t earn, and that you don’t deserve. Grace or unmerited favor came by Jesus Christ. Jesus is full of grace and truth. Every time you come to Jesus, you receive grace and when you come again, you receive more grace. Hallelujah! No judgment, no condemnation, just grace upon grace. The Bible declares that with the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness we will reign in life by Jesus Christ. For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 We are living in the dispensation of grace. Consequently, when you go to God, He doesn’t judge or condemn you. Judgment is coming. However, it is not that time. God corrects you whe

FAITH THAT WORKS

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. Hebrews 11:1-2 Faith is an important subject. Faith is a serious matter. The Bible declares that without faith it is impossible to please God. So, faith pleases God. Faith gets God on the scene. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 What is faith? 1.             Faith is a law. There are natural laws. Faith is a spiritual law. Just like natural laws, faith works all the time as long as the right conditions are met. Meaning genuine faith works all the time like clockwork and produces results. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. Romans 3:27 2.             Faith is believing and speaking. Faith is not just mere believing. You have to express your faith by sp

DEALING WISELY IN THE AFFAIRS OF LIFE

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8 Years ago, I used to wonder, if God has given me wisdom, why do I keep making foolish choices? That was because I did not know that I had to grow in the knowledge of God’s Word. As time passed, God kept me from making silly mistakes. Now, by God’s grace I deal wisely in the affairs of life.   However, that did not happen overnight, I had to be a student of God’s Word. Did you know that God’s Word can make you smart? Yes, God’s Word can make you super intelligent. In the opening verse we have learnt that God wanted Joshua to spend time in the Word. In another passage we read that Joshua was full of the spirit of wisdom. Now Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the c

THE KINGDOM OF LOVE, PEACE AND JOY

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 People everywhere are looking for love, peace and joy. They look for these in relationships, careers, fame, wealth, substance abuse, etc. Instead of getting love, peace and joy, the world gives them stress, worry and anxiety. That is because this world won’t solve your problems. The world will give you stress, worry and anxiety. Love, peace and joy are found in God. The Bible expressly tells us that God is love, so if you are looking for love, you need God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:8 If you are searching for peace, Jesus is the Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6) and He gives perfect peace. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 If it is joy that you need, in God’s presence, there is complete joy.

BROUGHT INTO GLORY

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 2:10 Christianity is a life glory! When you are born again you have been brought into the glory of God. It does not matter what your life used to look like before you got born again. You might have come from a disadvantaged background of sickness and poverty. It does not matter at all because the old has passed away and all things have become new. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 You don’t have to wait until you get to heaven see God’s glory. God has already glorified you! The glorious life is for the present, as Jesus is so are you in this world! Moreover whom He predestinated, these also He called; whom He called, these also He justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorif

WE LIVE THROUGH JESUS

Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. 1 Corinthians 8:6 Our lives are in Christ, we are in Him and we live through Him! Jesus said He came to give us abundant life. We do not get this abundant life from a distance. We have to spend time with Him in order to access this abundant life. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10 Life is in Jesus and we live through Him. When you have Jesus you have life! Therefore you can stand against and refuse anything that is consistent with death. You can refuse sickness and disease! You can refuse poverty, lack and want! Jesus has set you free and you live through Him! Through Him you are healed and you can stay healthy. Through Him you delivered from poverty and you can live in abundance. This li

LOVE EDIFIES

Now concerning thing offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. 1 Corinthians 8:1 Love seeks what is best for others, love adds value to others! If you want to change the world, you would have to do it by love. You cannot change people’s lives if you don’t love people! Love is the foundation to living an impactful life. Love seeks the best for others and love seeks to alleviate the pain for others. Love makes all the difference! When you love people, you will reach out to people. Jesus is love personified; it is His nature to love! Jesus has compassion on the lost, the sick and the hungry. When you love people you will have compassion on the lost, the sick and the hungry. Compassion will move you to do something because love is not passive, it is an action word. If you love people, what are you doing for people? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:18 Love will make

DON’T HOLD TOO TIGHTLY TO THE WORLD

And those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away. 1 Corinthians 7:31 This world is temporary; all that you see is temporary! Therefore, don’t be too attached to this world. Don’t love the world but love God. Don’t run after the world, but run after God and the world will run after you! Make God your priority in life not the world. God lets us know that if we seek Him and if we will put Him first all these things will be added to us. So get your priorities straight! But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 All these things are for us to enjoy but we will leave them behind. Therefore, don’t hold tightly to them. When you don’t hold tightly to material things you will not idolize them and you won’t have a problem giving them away. The Word of God teaches us to flee idolatry and keep ourselves from the love of money. We should be free to love and pursue God! Ble

DON’T LET PEOPLE MANIPULATE YOU

You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men. 1 Corinthians 7:23 You were bought with a price and you belong to Jesus! Jesus loves you, so learn to love yourself and don’t let people use, manipulate or abuse you. Know your worth, value yourself and others will value you! Learn not to get close to toxic people and know when to walk away from toxic relationships. Don’t let people use their status to manipulate you! Know who you are, you were bought with a price and do not become a slave of men. Respect people but also teach people to respect you! By this I don’t mean be rude to people because we are called to peace. However, don’t let people take advantage of you. Value yourself because you are valuable to God! But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now a people of God, who had not

THE WICKED ONE CANNOT TOUCH YOU

We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. 1 John 5:18 Jesus destroyed the devil through the cross! The enemy is defeated and he is powerless against you. You have been given power and authority over all the ability of the wicked one. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 You have authority on earth and the way to exercise that authority is through speaking the Word. You have to speak God’s Word and words that are consistent with God’s Word. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28 If you want to live in victory, you have to speak victory! You have to know what belong

WE SEE THE POWER OF GOD

For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 1 Corinthians 4:20 The kingdom of God is not in word but in power!  We who believe see the power of God at work in our lives. The kingdom of God is not just in preaching and teaching but in power. We see people get born again, healings, miracles and breakthroughs take place. We prophesy, see visions and dream dreams. We preach and teach and we also see the gifts of the Spirit in manifestation. We see the demonstration and the power of the Holy Spirit! And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions, and also on My menservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29 This message that we preach is the power of God! People get born again, healed and delivered through this message. People’s lives are changed through this message. The message of the gospel sets people free!

GOD’S MANAGERS

Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.  1 Corinthians 4:2 We are stewards of God’s resources! We are God’s managers of His resources! God has given us the world for the purpose of management. What God requires is that we be found faithful. Being God’s managers is a very serious business and it transcends time. It starts in this life and it is carried on in the life to come. His lord said to him, ‘Well done good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25:21 When you are faithful as God’s steward of His resources or God’s manager, you will be blessed for it, because God rewards faithfulness. A faithful man will abound with blessings, but he who hastens to be rich will not go unpunished. Proverbs 28:20 Everything belongs to God and He has made us managers of His resources. Jesus is appointed heir of all things and since we are joint heirs wit

BE PLANTED IN A LOCAL CHURCH

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:19 When you are born again you have to be planted in a local church and attend church faithfully. The local church is where you will fellowship with other believers. You can learn to serve others in a local church! When you are in a local church, you can pray for others and others can pray for you. You can make lasting friendships in a local church and possibly meet your future spouse in a local church. No man is an island and as a child of God you have to belong to a local church. You have to be part of a functioning body. There are blessings for you in a local church! Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down the beard of Aaron, running down the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the moun

THE DAY OF SALVATION

For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2 If you need God to save, heal and deliver you, now is the accepted time. We are living in the dispensation of grace and this is the day of salvation. This is your day, this is your moment. God is not far, He is just a prayer away. All you need to do is to call on Him and He will save, heal and deliver. Jesus can set you free! He came to seek and to save that which was lost. He came just for you and me. And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:9-10 Surrender to Jesus today and accept Him as your Lord and Savior because you do not know what tomorrow holds. Today is your opportunity to receive the Lord. This is an accepted time and this is the day of salva
