THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU

There is hope in your future, says the LORD… Jeremiah 31:17 Child of God, I’m telling you that there is hope for you in your future. As you keep to the right path, seeking God and serving Him, your faith cannot be denied and things will definitely get better. You have been called into an ever-increasing life, there is hope for you. Your life is from faith to faith, strength to strength, grace to grace and glory to glory. Hallelujah! But the path of the just is like the shinning sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18 Just keep your hope alive, don’t quit, and never give up. If things don’t look good at the moment, cheer up the best is yet to come; your best days are ahead of you. Be filled with hope, Jesus is on the throne, He reigns on high and He has a beautiful life planned for you. Moreover, Jesus ever lives to make intercession for you and His promises are yes and amen. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those that come to

PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE

Who is like a wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the sternness of his face is changed. Ecclesiastes 8:1 People are drawn to people with warm faces and this is the condition of people of wisdom. Wisdom brings joy and peace. Wisdom lightens up your face. It makes you stay in a lightened-up mood. People of wisdom have a glow on them. Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Proverbs 4:5 The Bible tells us to get wisdom and understanding. Where is your focus? When you focus on the world and what it has to say, you will have stress, worry and anxiety. But, when you focus on the wisdom of God, you will be in a lightened-up mood. Fear comes from the world, but faith comes from the Word which is the wisdom of God. You cannot be full of the Word and fear at the same time. You cannot be full of the wisdom of God and be full of stress, worry and anxiety at the same time. When yo

LIVING RIGHTEOUSLY WILL DELIVER YOU FROM TROUBLE

“Thus the Lord has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among people.” Luke 1:25 Our opening Scripture records the words of Elizabeth who had been barren and now she had conceived. God took away her reproach. When you live righteously, God will take away your reproach. When you live righteously, God will deliver you from trouble. The righteous is delivered from trouble, and it comes to the wicked instead. Proverbs 11:8 It does not matter how long you have been in a challenging situation, if you keep on living righteously God will take away your reproach. That is what breakthrough is all about, you have been doing things right in unfavourable circumstances until suddenly things begin to change and you experience breakthrough. If you will righteously, you will see the faithfulness of God. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful and He remains true

HAVING CHILDLIKE FAITH

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14 You need childlike faith to believe the gospel and be born again. You do not do it by being analytical or weighing the options. You simply believe and receive the message that is preached. From that simple act of believing and receiving, you inherit the kingdom of heaven. In a similar fashion, when you simply believe and receive the message of prosperity, healing, divine health and all the blessings that Jesus died for you to have, you begin to walk in them. Faith arises when you know the will of God for your life and the Word of God is the will of God. The only way you will take possession of your inheritance is by having childlike faith, which comes from you being knowledgeable about the Word of God. It’s all about taking God at His Word, the same way you did when you received your salvation. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the wor

THE WORD GIVES LIGHT

That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming in to the world. John 1:9 Many people are struggling with identity and do not know their purpose in life. Others do not have order in their lives and they struggle to live lives that are pleasing to God, consequently, they are always in trouble. All of this is happening because they lack the Word in their lives. Child of God, the Word is the light of men. It brings order into a chaotic situation. The Word gives light. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3 When God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was without form and void, but when God spoke the Word, things changed. The Word can bring order into your life; the Word can bring light into your life. When you have the Word

DOING YOUR BEST

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10 We are living in the days where mediocrity is the norm. Most people will do just enough to get by. However, the above Scripture lets us know that we have to do our best. When you start something, be determined to give it your best; be determined to finish what you have started well. You could be writing a book, preparing to run a marathon or composing a song, whatever project you might be involved in, be determined to stay with it and finish what you have started. Do it with excellence and to excel means to exceed expectations, to go the extra mile or to be above average. To excel means high performance. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Colossians 3:23-24 There is a reward for

THE SUFFERINGS OF CHRIST BRING GLORY

Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory? Luke 24:26 Before glory come sufferings. Before victory come challenges. Challenges are opportunities to go to the next level, they are stepping stones. Challenges are not there to destroy you but to make you smarter, wiser and better. Those who live right go through challenges because the enemy is trying to stop them from living right. However, when they persevere, they enter into a glorious life. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18 When you go through challenges don’t quit living right, endure until you enter into a glorious life. If we suffer with Christ, we shall be glorified with Him. Promotion comes from above, and it comes when you have passed the tests of life. Life is not smooth sailing; you will meet challenges and storms of life. However, you need to overcome and you have what

GOD IS THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE

But, O LORD of hosts, You who judge righteously, testing the mind and the heart, let me see Your vengeance on them, for to You I have revealed my cause. Jeremiah 11:20 God is righteous which means God is always right, He doesn’t make a mistake and He is perfect. Only He can make accurate judgements and the above Scripture sheds some light why. It says that God tests the minds and the hearts meaning God sees beyond our words and actions, He sees the minds and the hearts. You cannot hide anything form God. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 The above Scripture lets us know that the Word of God can make a distinction between the soul and spirit and can discern your thoughts and your heart’s intentions. You see even the Word of God knows you. The following verse establishes this truth f

ONE WAY JESUS

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. Acts 2:21 In the Old Testament the name Jehovah is prevalent. However, in the New Testament, we see the name Jesus being prevalent. Jesus is Lord. When we call on Him, we shall be saved. When you get born again, God saves you from going to hell and you are going to heaven. He saves you from sin and sin does not have dominion over you. He saves you from destruction and He gives you life. He saves you from God’s wrath and He will never be wrath with you. This is all because of what Jesus has done. He died for you and paid the price for you to be reconciled with God. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 Jesus is the way to the Father. It is in the define article, “the way” not “a way,” Jesus is the only way. Man through religion tries to get to God. However, God has provided a living way for mankind to have a relatio

LIFE IS IN THE WORD

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1:5 Jesus is the One called the Word of God. He is the Word that became flesh. Life is in Him; life is in the Word of God. People everywhere are looking for life and they look for it in relationships, religion, achievements, material possessions and so forth. However, our opening Scripture gives us insight that life is not found in those things, life is found in the Word of God. The Word of God will give life to other areas of your life. That should tell you how absolutely vital and essential the Word of God is. Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. The Word of God is of paramount importance. But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4 Do you want life? Then go for the Word. Keep the Word first place and make it a priority in your life. Make the W

LIVE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness – by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24 Living for righteousness is a mark of a believer. Living righteously is what distinguishes a believer from an unbeliever and not just the believer’s confession. A believer must live by the Word, a believer must live by faith. What is faith? Faith is believing and speaking, and believing and acting on the Word, not only must a believer speak the Word but He must also act on the Word. A believer must be a doer of the Word. He or she ought to walk as Christ walked. He who says he abides in Him ought to himself walk just as He walked. 1John 2:6 As believers we ought to live as Christ did, He is our example. We have to walk worthy of the Lord and the gospel. Our walk should reflect the character of Jesus Christ. When they call us Christians it should be because we are like Christ, not just because we say that we are Ch

SHINE

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 (NIV) Child of God you are the light just as Jesus is the Light and you should go out there and shine. How do you shine? You shine by being like Jesus. Jesus preached the gospel, healed the sick and feed the hungry, you do likewise. Share the gospel in your sphere of contact, pray for others and give to the poor. When you live this way, you will not be overcome by darkness but you will shine as the light. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 People in the world are in darkness and they need to the light, therefore shine before them. Let them see Jesus through you. Live to serve God and others, just like Jesus did. Be a

MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS

Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. Joel 3:14 The best decision you could ever make in life is to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Other than that, you have to make numerous decisions every day of your life. When you constantly make right decisions, they eventually lead to your success in life. Success simply put is a series of right decisions that you make. However, you need wisdom to make right decisions all the time. The Bible clearly states that if you need wisdom, you should ask for it. Solomon asked for wisdom when he was presented with an opportunity to ask and God was pleased with his request. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 Making right decisions every day is of outmost importance. The good that you do today will benefit you tomorrow. The good that you do right now will put you in an a

HOPE FOR THE GENTILES

And again, Isaiah says: “There shall be a root of Jesse; and He who shall rise to reign over the Gentiles, in Him the Gentiles shall hope.” Romans 15:12 When you are not Jewish according to the flesh, you are a Gentile. Although God had originally called the Jews to be His people, this time He has also called the Gentiles to be His people. Glory to God! Now, Jesus the King of kings reigns over us as the Gentiles, we are His people. Although the Jews are originally His people, God has had mercy on us and made us His people. We are grafted in to the family of God. We are now God’s people because we believe in Jesus Christ. As He says also in Hosea: “I will call them My people, who were not My people, and her beloved, who was not beloved.” “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, You are not My people, there they shall be called sons of the living God.” Romans 9:25-26 We have come to an everlasting kingdom, a kingdom that knows no end. Now we reign th

HEAVENLY CITIZENS

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20 We are in this world but we are not of this world, we are passer byes, we are strangers in the earth. We are the citizens of heaven, heaven is our home! The Bible clearly states that we are already seated with Christ in heavenly places. We are in Christ. When He was crucified, we were crucified with Him, when He was buried we were buried with Him, when He rose from the dead we were raised with Him to a newness of life. Christ is our life! But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-6 As heavenly citizens we should be heavenly minded, in other words we should get our vision from heaven and in effect bring heaven on
