HAVING CHILDLIKE FAITH
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14
You need childlike faith to believe the
gospel and be born again. You do not do it by being analytical or weighing the
options. You simply believe and receive the message that is preached. From that
simple act of believing and receiving, you inherit the kingdom of heaven.
In a similar fashion, when you simply
believe and receive the message of prosperity, healing, divine health and all
the blessings that Jesus died for you to have, you begin to walk in them. Faith
arises when you know the will of God for your life and the Word of God is the
will of God.
The only way you will take possession of
your inheritance is by having childlike faith, which comes from you being
knowledgeable about the Word of God. It’s all about taking God at His Word, the
same way you did when you received your salvation.
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing
by the word of God.
Romans 10:17
It is God’s will for you to prosper and be
in health. However, you need to fill your heart with the Word regarding
prosperity and health in order to walk in prosperity and health. You need to
keep hearing the Word.
Whatever it is that you want to see in your
life, bombard your mind and fill your heart with the Word of God concerning it
and it will soon manifest in your life.
Focusing on the Word of God gives you
childlike faith. You become what you focus your attention on. As you focus on
the Word, you are transported from faith to faith and from glory to glory. You
truly can have a glorious life. A life of faith is a glorious life.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for
the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is
revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:16-17
Thought of the day: The just shall live by
faith.
Confession: I walk by faith and not by
sight.
