SAVED BY GRACE

    For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 We are saved by grace and not by our good works. You cannot earn your salvation, no matter how many good deeds you get involved in. Salvation is a free gift of God that you receive by faith in the Lord Jesus. If salvation is a free gift of God, then why are so many people not born again? That’s because the devil has blinded them. They need our prayers so that God can move on their behalf. God does not intervene unless we ask Him to do it. We need to pray for the lost; we need to pray for souls. You can start by praying for people close to you like family members, relatives, friends, neighbors, colleagues, etc. When you have adequately prayed for others then you can share the gospel with them. HUMBLE PEOPLE PRAY

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Our opening Scripture clearly states that if God’s people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray. Humble people pray. Prayerful people are humble people. Proud people don’t pray because they think that they don’t have to. They fail to realize how much they need God. However, Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5 I submit to you that the first sign of humility is prayer. When you humble yourself before God in prayer, in due season, He will exalt you. HAVING CHILDLIKE FAITH

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14 You need childlike faith to believe the gospel and be born again. You do not do it by being analytical or weighing the options. You simply believe and receive the message that is preached. From that simple act of believing and receiving, you inherit the kingdom of heaven. In a similar fashion, when you simply believe and receive the message of prosperity, healing, divine health and all the blessings that Jesus died for you to have, you begin to walk in them. Faith arises when you know the will of God for your life and the Word of God is the will of God. The only way you will take possession of your inheritance is by having childlike faith, which comes from you being knowledgeable about the Word of God.
