JESUS TAKES AWAY SIN
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:29
Sin separates man from God. This is precisely what happened
to Adam. When Adam sinned, he became estranged from God. He no longer had a
healthy and living relationship with God, where God and Adam would fellowship
together. He became separated from God, all because of sin. He was driven out
of the Garden. Adam first died spiritually and then physically.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Jesus came to restore the relationship that was lost between
God and man. He came to give us life eternal life, life as God has it. When you
receive Jesus and confess Him as your Lord and Saviour, you receive eternal
life and you are reconciled and restored to a relationship with God.
That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to
Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the
word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19
Thank God for Jesus, He is the Lamb of God that was slain;
He became our sin offering. He died for the remission of our sins and God
raised Him from the dead for our justification. Man is reconciled back to God
through Jesus. He should be the center of our message and not us. When we have
sinned, we go to Him and He takes away our sins. He does not judge or condemn
us. Jesus is full of grace.
And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for
grace.
John 1:16
As we come to Him daily, He washes us and we end up being
more and more like Him. We receive grace upon grace. The more we spend time
with Him, the more we become like Him. Hallelujah! Jesus has saved us from our
sins.
And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name
JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.
Matthew 1:21
Thought of the day: Jesus takes away the sin of the world.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are the Lamb of God that takes away
the sin of the world, thank You for saving me. Amen.
