YOU ARE THE SALT IN YOUR WORLD

You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall be it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. Matthew 5:13 You are the salt in your world. One of the benefits of salt is that it preserves. You preserve your world or your sphere of contact. You see if it wasn’t for believers around, things would get totally out of hand, where it would be evil continually. Thankfully, as a believer you influence your world. You can boldly live a life that pleases God because you preserve your world. If you were not there, things would fall apart. Stand out and distinguish yourself with a godly lifestyle, because people are looking up to you. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 Another benefit of salt is that it gives flavour. You add flavour to your world. If it wasn’t for you, things would be dull and boring. Don’t be afraid to be

YOU ARE SPECIAL TO GOD

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. 1 Peter 2:9 You are special to God. You are a priest and a king to God. He saved you by his grace and washed you in the blood of Jesus. He has made you righteous and blameless before Him. And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our own sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:5-6 You are unique and there is no one quite like you. Only you can do what you do the way that you do it. You do not have to compare yourself with others because you are different. You are hand crafted and made in God’s image and likeness. You are His masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made. Y

DAILY BENEFITS

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Psalm 68:19 There are benefits that we can enjoy on a daily basis; this includes both spiritual and material blessings. Spiritual blessings like forgiveness, love, peace and joy, etc. Material blessings like health, provision, honour, life, etc. God daily loads us with benefits. When you are in need, God wants to provide for you. When you are sick, God wants you to heal you. When you are in trouble, God wants to deliver you. God is a good God and He is out to bless us. It is evident because He gave us His only Son, how will He not with Him also freely give us all things. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32 No wonder David could boldly say: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6 However, take note of w

HAVE A VISION

Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write down the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” Habakkuk 2:2 When you get into your car and drive, you have to know exactly where you are going in order to know which route to take. Having a vision and writing it down is the same, you know exactly where you are going so you know which route to take in life. When you know where you are going, you will know how to get there. You know what is necessary and what you need to get rid of, all because of the vision you have written down. You know what it will take and the sacrifices you need to make in order to accomplish your vision. A vision gives you hope and a sense of direction. It gives you discipline. You know that you are going somewhere. You know that your best days are ahead of you and the best is yet to come. You have something to look forward to because of your vision. Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established. Proverbs 16

HUMBLE PEOPLE PRAISE OTHERS AND NOT THEMSELVES

Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger not your own lips. Proverbs 27:2 Have you ever met people who love to talk about themselves? People who can hold a conversation from start to finish just talking about themselves. They wouldn’t talk about anything that concerns the person that they are communicating with. That is not wisdom and that is not humility. Humble people don’t praise themselves. They shift the focus from themselves to others in order to bring out the best in others. Humble people love to praise others and not themselves. Humble people encourage, compliment and speak well of others in their conversations. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. Colossians 4:6 Uplift and speak well of others in your conversations. Instead of focusing on people’s shortcomings, highlight the good that people do. This is especially good for leadership. Leaders highlight the good that peopl

HUMBLE PEOPLE PRAY

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Our opening Scripture clearly states that if God’s people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray. Humble people pray. Prayerful people are humble people. Proud people don’t pray because they think that they don’t have to. They fail to realize how much they need God. However, Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5 I submit to you that the first sign of humility is prayer. When you humble yourself before God in prayer, in due season, He will exalt you. When you humble yourself before God in prayer, you will also humble yourself before others. Likewise you younger people, submit to your elders. Yes,

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. Jude 1:20 God wants you to be led by the Spirit, pray in the Spirit and walk in the Spirit. I like to put it this way, you are led by the Spirit to pray in the Spirit and then you walk in the Spirit. When you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh. I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 On the day of Pentecost when the disciples of Jesus received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, praying in tongues was the first gift they received. Furthermore, Paul said to the church at Corinth, “I thank my God I speak in tongues more that you all.” That goes to show how important praying in the Spirit is. I thank my God I speak in tongues more than you all. 1 Corinthians 14:18 Sometimes you do not know what to say or how to pray. God has given us the gift of tongues to pray effectively. When you pray in the Spirit you

GOD LIKES YOU

The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17 Not only does God love you but God also likes you. God likes it when you spend time with Him. God longs for a relationship with you. God wants you to fellowship with Him. We see this in the Garden of Eden when God came to the man Adam. Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” Genesis 3:9 When Adam sinned, he became estranged from God, he no longer had an intimate relationship with God. He was separated from God. However, when man got lost, God made a way for man to be reconciled to Himself. Jesus is the way that man is reconciled to God. Now that you are reconciled to God, He likes you to spend time with Him. He likes you just the way you are, you don’t have to be like anybody else. You don’t have to have anyone’s gifts or personality. You are fearfully and wonderf

GOOD SUCCESS

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8 When you meditate on the Word of God you will have good success and not bad success. I would say that success that keeps you from your family and church is bad success. To meditate on the Word means to think upon and mutter the Word as if you were trying to memorize it and more often than not you do memorize it. You renew or upgrade your mind through meditation. Meditation gives you a success mentality and it brings you good success. Whatever you do can prosper and the key is meditation. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is the law of the LORD, and in His law He meditates day and night. He shall be like a tr

A TREE OF LIFE

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. Proverbs 15:4 Life and death are in the tongue and a wholesome tongue is a tree of life. A wholesome tongue will give you life. If you have been wondering where is the abundant life that Jesus came to give you, it is in your tongue. A wholesome tongue is a tongue yielded to the Spirit and to the Word of God. It is a tongue that speaks the Word and speaks in other tongues. When you yield your tongue to the Holy Spirit He will tame your tongue. And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. James 3:4-8 You cannot tame the tongue on your own; you have to yield to the Word of G

GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3 Did you know that you are destined for greatness? Yes, there is a place for you at the top! You can be the best version of you and live your best life. There is no limit as to how far you can go in life. In our opening Scripture, God lets us know how we can live our best lives. When we call to Him He will show us great and mighty things. He will show us great and mighty things that we can accomplish in our lives. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 It is the Holy Spirit who shows us these great and mighty things. He makes our lives beautiful. The Holy Spirit can make you a winner and a success in life. However, y

THE SPIRIT OF REVIVAL

Blessed are those which do hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 Those who want to be like Jesus have caught the spirit of revival. Those who hunger and thirst for Jesus, have caught the spirit of revival. God can use people who want to be like Jesus. When you hunger you eat, when you thirst you drink. You have to come to a point where you hunger for the Word and thirst for prayer. You have to come to a point where nothing satisfies you like the Word and prayer. When you love the Word and prayer you have caught revival. When you love God’s presence you have caught revival and God can use you. God uses those who are hungry and thirsty. God won’t give you revival if you don’t want revival. God won’t give you souls if you don’t want souls. What do you want? God wants to satisfy your desire. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 You can only get revival when you want revival. You c

DON’T HOLD BACK

How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house. Acts 20:20 Many leaders are limited, not because they lack potential but because they hold back what is beneficial to others. However, Paul proved to be a good leader who does not hold back what is beneficial to others. Paul was selfless; no wonder he achieved such excellent results. Selfless leaders are always relevant; they always have something to offer. Selfless leaders know that they are stewards of God’s blessings. They know that they are blessed to be a blessing. Let a man so consider us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 Selflessness is the key to greatness! If you want to be great don’t hold back, the more you help others the more you put yourself at an advantage. The more you help others to be successful, the more successful you become. Al

THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL TELL YOU THINGS TO COME

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29 When you walk with the Holy Spirit, He can give you prophecy, visions and dreams for your life. Your life will not be stagnant when you walk with the Holy Spirit because He will tell you things to come. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you an exciting future. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. John 16:13 Life can never be dull when you walk with the Holy Spirit because He makes your life beautiful. The Holy Spirit will give you a glorious life. If you want to go from glory to glory, faith to faith and strength to strength, learn

BEAR FRUITS WORTHY OF REPENTANCE

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance. Matthew 3:8 When you believe in Jesus and receive Him as your Lord and Savior, you have to bear fruits worthy of repentance. The Bible says that you will know them by their fruits not by them professing to be Christians. When you give your life to Christ He changes you and you begin to bear fruit. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15-20 What if you were not bearing good fruit up to this point, you need to repent, commit your life to Christ and start bearing good fruit. A child of God is known

BE HEAVENLY MINDED

Set your mind on things above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on spiritual things, set your mind on the kingdom of God, set your mind on heavenly things. This world is passing away and the things that you see are temporary, so set your mind on things that will last. If you will be heavenly minded you will bring heaven on earth. If you will be heavenly minded you will win more souls and lead many to righteousness. If you will be heavenly minded you will advance God’s kingdom here on earth. Ask yourself what is more important to God and you will come to the conclusion that souls are more important to God and the advancement of His kingdom is more important to Him. That should be what is important to you. Find your place in God’s kingdom. How can you advance God’s kingdom? How can you use your gifts and resources to advance God’s kingdom? If you will advance God’s kingdom, everything will fall into place and all the things that yo

GOD CAUSES US TO GROW

And not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. Colossians 2:19 Your growth and increase comes from God! You cannot expect to grow if you don’t spent time with God and if you don’t go to church. God is the One who causes you to grow. You have to be rooted in Him, and you have to abide in Him. When you are rooted and abide in Him, you will grow and when you grow, you will be fruitful and productive. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5 You can grow and become the person that God wants you to be. God can mold you and shape you to the person that He wants you to be, all you have to do is learn to yield to Him. God wants you to grow and

FOLLOW CHRIST

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him. Colossians 2:6 To walk in Christ is to follow Christ! As you have received Christ, so you have to follow Him. You can follow Christ every day of your life by walking up each morning and putting on the Lord Jesus Christ. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:14 You put on the Lord Jesus Christ by spending time with Him. You spend time with Him in secret, and when you come out of that secret place you walk in Him, meaning you follow Him. You can walk in Him and follow Him because you have sensitized yourself to His voice. You have been with Him secret and when He speaks to you in public you can follow Him because you are sensitive to His voice. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. John 10:4 You can put on Christ every day; you can spend time with Christ every day. T

ALL WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE

In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:3 All wisdom and knowledge is in Christ! As a child of God you can never be any way disadvantaged in life, because the Bible declares that you know all things. There is no room for confusion. You can know what to do, how to do it, where to go and when to go. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. 1 John 2:20 If you were ever at loss, not knowing what to do or where to go, you can just ask Jesus and He will let you know what to do and where to go and He doesn’t make a mistake. When you follow Jesus, you will always be in the light. Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12 Jesus is your wisdom. You have the highest form of wisdom as a child of God. Your wisdom surpasses the wisdom of the world. You can make progress that cannot be matched by the world. B

WE PREACH CHRIST

Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Colossians 1:28 We preach Christ and Him crucified. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but by Him. He is the only way to heaven. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6 When Jesus was here on earth, He stressed that we must be born again. We must believe in Him and receive Him as our Lord and Savior, thereby receiving a new life; the life of God in our spirits. Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3 There is no other name under heaven given us whereby we shall be saved. Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone and not in religion or attending church. You must have a personal relationship with Jesus. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no ot

WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13 Salvation is a big word and it includes all the things that Christ died for you to have. Work out your own salvation by doing God’s will, being obedient to Him. You take possession of what belongs to you by living a life of obedience to God. When you live a life of obedience to God you activate the blessing of God in your life. It will be evident to all that you are blessed when you live a life of obedience. Obedience is the key to living the blessed life! If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19 Things will begin to work when you work out your own salvation; things will begin to work when you live a life of obedience to God. There is usually a clear distinction to the obedient

BE A TEAM PLAYER

Fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:2 Be united with other believers and do what your leader tells you to do. The only time you are not supposed to obey your leader is if he or she is asking you to do what is contrary to the Word. Other than that, be agreeable and obey spiritual instructions. There is unity when we all obey spiritual instructions, we can all flow in one direction. We can definitely achieve more when we are united. We can readily make progress when we are united. Nothing can stop us when we are united. And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing they propose to do will be withheld from them. Genesis 11:6 When we are divided there is hardly any progress. There is weakness when we are divided and we are susceptible to attacks. However, united we can stand, overcome and move forward. But Jesus knew their tho

YOU REPRESENT JESUS

Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel. Philippians 1:27 You represent Christ on earth so let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ. Represent Jesus well so that people may be susceptible to receive the good news of the kingdom. Live a life of sacrifice for the sake of winning others to Christ. The aim is to win souls and lead many to righteousness; to depopulate hell and populate heaven. Did you know that when you win souls and lead many to righteousness you make God rich? When you make God rich, He does not have a problem making you rich. A wise man once said, “A millionaire is someone who has impacted a million lives!” How many lives do you want to impact with your lifestyle and your gift? How many people do you want to impact with your character and excellence? Advance God’s kin

NUMBER ONE ON THE LIST

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 1:2 (KJV) Now that you are born again, the number one thing on God’s list is your prosperity and health. God is a good and generous God. He wants you to prosper and be in health above all things; your prosperity and health are His priority. It is God’s perfect will that you prosper and be in health. Your response should be to desire the same thing for yourself. You should desire to prosper and be in health. However, there is an enemy out there who does not want you to prosper and be in health. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12 Poverty and sickness are from the enemy and they are contraband in the kingdom of God. Therefore you can reject poverty and sickness. You can refuse to be poor and sick. If you want to proper and be in health look no further, your prosperit
