WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12-13
Salvation is a big word and it includes all the things that
Christ died for you to have. Work out your own salvation by doing God’s will,
being obedient to Him. You take possession of what belongs to you by living a
life of obedience to God.
When you live a life of obedience to God you activate the
blessing of God in your life. It will be evident to all that you are blessed
when you live a life of obedience. Obedience is the key to living the blessed
life!
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of
the land.
Isaiah 1:19
Things will begin to work when you work out your own
salvation; things will begin to work when you live a life of obedience to God.
There is usually a clear distinction to the obedient and disobedient in the
kingdom of God, the obedient walk in the blessing of the Lord and the
disobedient don’t.
When you live a life of obedience to God, your life goes
upward and forward. When you live a life of obedience to God, you go from faith
to faith, strength to strength and glory to glory.
But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that
shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
Proverbs 4:18
When you work out your own salvation, you can live a life of
prosperity, health and perpetual victory. Your life will keep getting better
and better, brighter and brighter, greater and greater. Hallelujah! You don’t
decrease by living a life of obedience but you increase by living a life of
obedience.
If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in
prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
Job 36:11
Thought of the day: I work out my own salvation by living a
life of obedience to God.
Confession: My life is going upward and forward. My best
days are ahead of me. The best is yet to come.
