YOUR IMAGINATION SHAPES YOUR LIFE

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Genesis 6:5 (KJV)

Have you ever thought and thought and caught yourself thinking the wrong thoughts and went “What am I thinking?” Now when you said, “What am I thinking?” The line of thought was interrupted and you could think something else.

That is what you need to do with wrong thoughts. Don’t let your thoughts run wild and think on the wrong stuff, interrupt wrong thoughts and change your line of thought or imagination because the character of your thoughts and your imagination shape your life.

In our opening Scripture that is what made man wicked, every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was evil continually. If you thought on the wrong stuff long enough you would end up doing wrong things.

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.

Proverbs 23:7

Be careful how you think because your life is shaped by your thoughts! If you think that you can’t, you can’t. If you think that you can, you can. If you think that you can’t live a holy life you can’t, but if you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t be successful, you can’t, but if you think you can you can.

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

Matthew 9:23

Now there is nothing you can’t do, if you can see it with the eyes of your imagination you can have it. What do you see? Not what your parents, pastor, spouse or friends see. What do you see? If you can’t see it with the eyes of your imagination, you can’t have it.

Thought of the day: If I can see it with the eyes of my imagination, I can have it.

Confession: I have control over my mind and I can see what I want to see.

MAKING POWER AVAILABLE

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 There is power that is at work in us and it is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. It is the power of the Holy Spirit.
