THE LORD DOES NOT FORGET THE HUMBLE
Arise, O LORD! O God, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble.
Psalm 10:12
Humble people pray! Humble people serve! Humble people speak
well of others! Humble people humble themselves in God’s sight and that is why
they are able to humble themselves before others.
The Lord does not forget humble people but He lifts up
humble people. The Lord promotes humble people! Therefore, humble yourself, and
things will turn around for you.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift
you up.
James 4:10
Humble people pray because it takes humility to pray and
proud people don’t think they have to pray. They do not realize how much they
need God. Yet they want God to bless them and that from a distance, but if you
truly want God to bless you, you have to come close to Him.
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves,
and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Humble people serve because it takes humility to serve and
proud people don’t think that they have to serve. If you want God to bless you
then be a blessing to others and serve others. The greatest in the kingdom of
God is a servant of all.
But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Matthew 23:11
Humble people speak well of others. Some people like to
speak well of themselves but the Bible teaches us to speak well of others and
let others speak well of us, that is true humility. Humble people don’t try to
look important but they let others look important.
Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth; a
stranger not your own lips.
Proverbs 27:2
Thought of the day: The Lord does not forget the humble.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for teaching me humility
and thank You that when I humble myself, You will lift me up, in the name of
Jesus. Amen.
