HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF?
And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
Numbers 11:32-33
The spies who brought back a bad report saw
themselves as grasshoppers. Furthermore, they believed that their enemies saw
them the same way and they were right, because people will see you the way you
see yourself.
You cannot see yourself sick and be
healthy. You cannot see yourself poor and be rich. You cannot see yourself as a
failure and be a success.
Can you envision your healing and your
prosperity? How do you see yourself? How you see yourself comes out in your
words and actions. You cannot see yourself as a failure and talk and act like a
success.
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
Proverbs 23:7
When you pursue your ministry, business,
career or projects what do you see? What do you expect the outcome to be? You
have to see with eyes of faith and see yourself the way God sees you. How you
see yourself will affect everything about you.
You cannot live above your self-perception.
If you are struggling with your self-esteem and self-perception, there is
something that is above your mind and that is your mouth.
Your words can change how you see yourself.
Speak the Word of God over your life, make sure what you say about yourself is
consistent with Word of God. How you see yourself is really what you believe
about yourself, and you cannot go beyond what you believe about yourself.
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all
things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23
Thought of the day: How I see myself will
affect everything about me
Confession: I am who God says I am, I have
what God says I have and I can do what God says I can do.
