BE DILIGENT IN THE PURSUIT OF YOUR PURPOSE

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Proverbs 10:4

Some people are diligent in the wrong jobs, jobs that they are not really good at or passionate about. Consequently, they are not fulfilled and they never become rich. I’m letting you know that you have to be diligent in the pursuit of your purpose because there is nothing on this earth that you can do better than your purpose.

Discover your unique purpose and be diligent in the pursuit of your purpose. Your purpose is both what you are passionate about and good at, what you love and you do better than anything else. It entails your passion and gifts. When you are diligent in the pursuit of your purpose you will not end up poor but rich.

The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.

Proverbs 12:24

When you are diligent in the pursuit of your purpose you will become a leader. Leadership is not necessarily from position but from influence. When you are diligent in the pursuit of your purpose people will look up to you, you will dominate and you will be a man or woman of influence.

In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to poverty.

Proverbs 14:23

Do not be idle, the world needs you and your gift, you can make a difference. You can be a man or woman of influence. You can be a leader, be rich and live a life of fulfilment, if you will be diligent in the pursuit of your purpose.

The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, but diligence is man’s precious possession.

Proverbs 12:27

Thought of the day: In all labor there is profit.

Confession: I refuse to be lazy; I choose to be diligent.

LOVE GOD AND LOVE PEOPLE

Let all that you do be done with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 The reasons why you do all that you do matter. Why do you do ministry? Why are you in that business? Why are you working in that job? Why are you in that relationship? Your reason for doing all that you do should be because you love God and you love people. Life is all about relationships. Life is all about loving God and loving people. Your order should be God first, people second and you third. That will make you happy. That will give you JOY: Jesus, others, you. Jesus said to him, “’You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. YOU LIVE IN THE ARK

Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted the ark, and it rose high above the earth. Genesis 7:17 When the Lord destroyed the earth with the flood, there was a flood for forty days and forty nights, Noah and his family where in the ark, as the water rose, the ark rose above the waters. As a child of God, figuratively, you live in the ark. The world around you may be going through trouble but you are safe in the ark. You are in the world but you are not of the world.
