LEARN TO DO GOOD
Learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Isaiah 1:17
The good that you do today will benefit you
tomorrow. Learn to do good because when you do good today you are sowing good
seeds into your future and good will be repaid back to you. That’s the law of life
and the beauty of it. You can create a beautiful future by living a principled
life today. You don’t have to be a victim; you can be a victor in life by
sowing the right seeds.
Years ago, I learnt that you are rewarded
according to how you live your life. From that time on I became adamant to live
right and to be a good person. That decision has helped me to stay on the right
path, needless to say that it pays to live right. I’m living a blessed life
because Jesus has made my life beautiful. God will reward you for staying on
the right path.
Say to the righteous that it shall be well
with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
Isaiah 3:10
You can choose to be a good person today,
who does a lot of good in this broken world. That’s the way of the godly and
the mature in Christ. Don’t wait for people to be good to you, take the
initiative and be good to people. Refuse to reward evil with evil but rather
reward with good. You will be rewarded for the good that you do.
A good man obtains favour from the LORD,
but a man of wicked intentions He will condemn.
Proverbs 12:2
Don’t give up on being good to people no
matter how long you have been doing it. When you are good to others, you shape
your future to be a beautiful one because you will reap what you sow in life.
And let us not grow weary while doing good,
for in due season we shall reap if we do not loose heart. Therefore, as we have
opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the
household of faith.
Galatians 6:9-10
Thought of the day: I will be rewarded for
the good that I do.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that You
reward me when I do good, thank You that I can change my life by being good to
others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
