MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL SHOULD LIVE FROM THE GOSPEL
Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.
1 Corinthians 9:14
Ministers of the gospel should not starve because they have
a job. They have to minister to the Body of Christ and get a salary from doing
so. If you are a minister of the gospel focus on your calling and God will take
care of you.
Jesus asked Peter if he loved Him upon Peter confirming it,
He expressly told him to feed the flock. As a minister of the gospel you are
called to feed and take care of the flock. When you do so, God will not have a
problem paying you. A laborer is worthy of his wages!
And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such
things as they give, for a laborer is worthy of his wages.
Luke 10:7
As a minister, give yourself to prayer and the Word,
minister to the flock and do the work of an evangelist, that means win souls.
God always takes care of people who win souls.
You don’t have to be poor as a minister. If you want to live
in abundance think big. You cannot live big while thinking small. You have to
think big to live big! Prosperity is a function of your mind, and you have the
mind of Christ, so refuse to be poor and put your mind to good use.
For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct
Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16
Refuse to be lazy but work hard, go the extra mile and
whatever you do, give it your best because you are working for the Lord. Money
will not be a problem if you would work hard and manage it well. In all labor
there is profit!
In all labor there is profit, but idle chatter leads only to
poverty.
Proverbs 14:23
Thought of the day: Ministers of the gospel should live from
the gospel.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that in all labor there
is profit, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
