JUSTIFIED BY FAITH
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Galatians 2:16
In the Old Covenant, man was justified by the law; man
needed to follow the Law of Moses to be just. Thank God that in the New
Covenant, the dispensation of grace, man is justified by faith in Jesus Christ,
Hallelujah!
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came
through Jesus Christ.
John 1:17
We are in the dispensation of grace and we are no longer
under the law but under grace. We are saved by grace and we are justified by
faith in Jesus Christ. Thank God for His grace that has found us.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not
of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
God has justified us by faith in Jesus Christ, now we are
just as if we have never sinned. We are righteous in Jesus Christ before the
living God. A divine exchange happened at the cross; Jesus took our sin and
gave us His righteousness.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we
might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Now we stand righteous before a Holy God. Now we can boldly
approach the throne of grace. We can spend time with God anytime, anywhere
because we are accepted in the Beloved. We walk with God everywhere we go
because we have peace with God. Hallelujah!
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by
faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of
God.
Romans 5:1-2
Thought of the day: I’m justified by faith in Jesus Christ
and not by works.
Confession: I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
