IT’S THE ANOINTING THAT BREAKS THE YOKE
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Isaiah 10:27 (KJV)
Beloved, it is all in the anointing. The
anointing is the presence and the power of God upon a believer that enables him
or her to accomplish God’s work.
The yoke of sickness, poverty, stagnation,
etc. can be destroyed by the anointing. There is nothing that the anointing
cannot do. When the anointing is upon you, you can accomplish extraordinary things
and live a glorious life.
So he answered and said to me: This is the
word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’
says the LORD of hosts.
Zechariah 4:6
In the Old Testament, only the kings,
prophets and priests could be anointed. However, in the New Testament all
believers are anointed, because all believers are kings and priests and all
believers have the Holy Spirit living in them. However, there is a difference between
having the anointing in you and having the anointing upon you, which we call
the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. You
need the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
But you shall receive power when the Holy
Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in
all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
Acts 1:8
What you can do is to increase in the
anointing, and end up accomplishing more and more in your life. You can increase
in the anointing by engaging in what we call spiritual exercises and exercise
yourself toward godliness.
But reject profane and old wives’ fables,
and exercise yourself toward godliness.
1 Timothy 4:7
Your life can go upward and forward because
of the anointing. Your life can get better and better, brighter and brighter
because of the anointing. You can live a glorious life because of the
anointing.
But the path of the just is like the
shinning sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
Proverbs 4:18
Thought of the day: It’s the anointing that
breaks the yoke.
Confession: I’m anointed.
