KNOWLEDGE WILL EMPOWER YOU
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Hosea 4:6
Some people are destroyed because of lack
of knowledge of the Word of God. They walk in ignorance to God’s Word. They do
not know what God has said in His Word and they are still in darkness. They are
destroyed by poverty, sicknesses and the like. They are living in defeat and
hopelessness. Nevertheless, God has given us His Word and victory is in His
Word.
He sent His word and healed them, and
delivered them from their destructions.
Psalm 107:20
God sent His Word as an instruction manual
to instruct us in godly living. He sent the Word to heal our broken bodies and
to deliver us from destructive lives. Now we can live in peace, joy,
prosperity, health and wholeness.
When you have knowledge of the Scriptures
that will put you at an advantageous position, it will put you above and not
beneath and make you the head and not the tail. Knowing what God has said will
empower you.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of
God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Go for the Word and invest in yourself. Let
the Word dwell richly in your heart, not just to a small degree but richly, be
full of the Word. When you are faced with opposition and challenges try to
squeeze you, the Word will come out. You will speak the Word because out of the
abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. Don’t fall prey to adverse circumstances,
choose to empower yourself with the knowledge of the God’s Word.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly
in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:16
Thought of the day: Knowledge will empower
me.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your
Word. Thank You that Your Word empowers me and puts me at an advantage, in the
name of Jesus. Amen.
