GIVING IS LIVING

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Luke 6:38

The world doesn’t owe you anything; you are the one who is supposed to make a difference in the world. You are the one who is supposed to be a giver, lifter and helper. Many people are waiting for things to happen like the next breakthrough. Well, why not make things happen?

Instead of waiting for a breakthrough, pay it forward. Every action has a return effect, you will reap what you sow. Instead of waiting for people to love you, help you and be friendly to you. Start sowing love, help and friendship to others. Start sowing what you want to harvest in your life.

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 7:12

God has set spiritual laws in motion and all you have to do is to take advantage of them. When you make others happy, you become happy. When you are kind to others, it is good for your heart. When you help others succeed, you become successful. When you are generous, you prosper.

You could be waiting for a breakthrough. Well, maybe God is waiting for you to sow the right seeds and the world is waiting for you to be a difference maker. The world is waiting for you to be a blessing.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:9-10

Thought of the day: I do not have to wait for things to happen; I can make things happen through my giving.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that I can sow into other people’s lives. Thank You that as I sow into other people’s lives I will reap a harvest in return, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

YOU LIVE IN THE ARK

Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted the ark, and it rose high above the earth. Genesis 7:17 When the Lord destroyed the earth with the flood, there was a flood for forty days and forty nights, Noah and his family where in the ark, as the water rose, the ark rose above the waters. As a child of God, figuratively, you live in the ark. The world around you may be going through trouble but you are safe in the ark. You are in the world but you are not of the world.
