GOD LOVES YOU
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
No one in this world can love you the way
that God does. Your parents, spouse, brothers, sisters and friends cannot love
you the way that God does. God loves you.
God’s love cannot be compared to human love.
Human love is imperfect and has shortcomings but God’s love is perfect and it
never fails. You can rely on God’s love for you. The Bible declares that
nothing can separate us from God’s love.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor
life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things
to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
In other words, you will always experience
God’s love; nothing can separate you from His love. Expect God’s love, mercy
and goodness. God will meet you at your level of expectancy.
God loves you at your best and He loves you
at your worst. God loves the best of us as much as He loves the worst of us.
God loves the righteous and the sinner alike. God’s love is without partiality.
But God demonstrates His own love toward
us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
God hates sin but loves the sinner. You can
do one of two things in response to God’s love for you. You can either receive
it or reject it. The Scripture admonishes us to become like little children.
Little children are humble and receptive of love.
You receive God’s love for you by receiving
His Son Jesus who died on the cross for you and me. God’s heart burns with love
for you and me.
In this the love of God was manifested
toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we
might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He
loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:9-10
Thought of the day: God loves me.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your
love. Thank You that I can rely on Your love for me, in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
