JESUS TAKES AWAY THE CONSEQUENCES OF SIN
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:13-14
When Jesus takes away sins, He also takes
away the consequences of sins. Jesus takes away the curse which came as a
result of man’s sin. When He takes away the curse, the blessing of Abraham
comes upon us. Every child of God is blessed with the blessings of Abraham.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly
places in Christ.
Ephesians 1:3
When Adam sinned the curse came into the
world. When you are under the law the curse works effectually in your life, but
praise the Lord! We are not under the law but under grace. When you receive Jesus,
He takes away the curse and He gives you the blessing. He makes you a new
creation.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a
new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Glory to God! Old things have passed away.
Sin has been taken away and the curse has passed away, we have been redeemed
from the curse. All things are become new. The blessing of Abraham has come
upon us as children of the Most High God.
We now have the legal right to refuse to be
sick and refuse to be poor. We are blessed of God. Sickness, poverty and
destruction are part of the curse. Health, wealth and peace are part of the
blessing.
The blessing of the LORD makes one rich,
and He adds no sorrow with it.
Proverbs 10:22
Thought of the day: Jesus has taken away
sin along with the curse.
Confession: Christ has redeemed me from the
curse of the law and the blessing of Abraham has come upon me. I’m blessed.
