YOU ARE THE LIGHT IN YOUR WORLD

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

Matthew 5:14

People in the world are in darkness; they walk in ignorance to God’s Word. As a believer you can enlighten other people’s darkness; you can make them see. You are the light of the world. You are a leader with solutions.

You can win souls and lead many to righteousness. You can liberate and empower others. You can lead by example and make a difference. You can distinguish yourself as the light of the world by bearing good fruit and producing good works.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

People everywhere are looking for leaders who will lead them. They are looking for the light, someone who will lead and solve problems. You can be that difference maker and change other people’s lives.

When people see you, what do they see; what do they think? Are you the solution or the problem? You can be a burning and a shining light. You can change your sphere of contact. You are a child of God and people are looking up to you.

Jesus is the Light of the world. As you follow Him, He will make you the light of your world and a fisher of men. As you follow Him you will be the light to others.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

John 8:12

Child of God, the world needs you. So, bear good fruit and produce good works. Be fruitful and productive. You don’t have to be somebody else but you, your unique personality, gifts and abilities are needed in this world.

Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

Isaiah 60:1

Thought of the day: I am the light of the world.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for making me the light of the world. Thank You that as I follow Jesus, I impact lives and change the world around me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

YOU LIVE IN THE ARK

Now the flood was on the earth forty days. The waters increased and lifted the ark, and it rose high above the earth. Genesis 7:17 When the Lord destroyed the earth with the flood, there was a flood for forty days and forty nights, Noah and his family where in the ark, as the water rose, the ark rose above the waters. As a child of God, figuratively, you live in the ark. The world around you may be going through trouble but you are safe in the ark. You are in the world but you are not of the world. PRAY FOR LEADERS IN YOUR COUNTRY

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 2 Timothy 2:1-2 As a child of God it is your responsibility to pray for leaders in your country. Leaders in your country are appointed by God and you need to pray for them not criticize them.
